Meet the Crunchers: Liefen Su-Hovd

What is your position at Document Crunch and what do you do in your role?

My official title is Quality and Support Operations Engineer but I’m just a gal ensuring in the quality, reliability, and performance of our products. I am fortunate that my role allows me to work across many teams here: Customer Success (our Care Bears), Product, Engineering, Platform, Marketing and Sales.

How would your fellow employees describe you?

Liefen is a great worker and a great human being. As a worker, she is the person who picks up all the things that would normally slip through the cracks. This keeps the business running smoothly and her coworkers looking flawless when entropy would otherwise be winning the race. As a human, she is a nurturant teammate who tends to the messy, emotional parts of being a person in concert with the functional considerations of the business. The end result is a person who keeps the people and the business flowing smoothly through the grueling challenges of a software startup. And no, you can’t have her. - Johnny Russell

What is a surprising or fun fact about you?

Well, I did meet my hubby (from Sweden) at a payphone in Taiwan one summer while traveling, long, long ago...

Who or what inspires you the most?

I’m inspired by the kindness and compassion I witness in the world, and the love and warmth of my family and friends.

What drew you to Document Crunch?

One day, Johnny reached out and asked me if I would be interested in joining him at this trailblazing company, surrounded by the smartest, most amazing people.  Without a doubt, I said, “HECK YEAH!”

What do you like most about being a Cruncher?

Witnessing our company's growth and being an integral part of it brings me joy. Collaborating with such exceptional co-workers fills me with happiness. Coming to work every day, giving my best, and sharing laughs with my teammates doesn't feel like a job; it feels like I'm returning home.
